Rant: My sore shoulders got me looking at padded strap reviews

I see more people talking about padded straps on camping backpacks in reviews now. Last trip, my old pack gave me shoulder aches after a few hours. I checked some new reviews and picked one with extra padding. It made carrying gear much easier on my next hike. This shift towards comfort in gear talk is really helping.

Funny how gear reviews used to just talk about how tough something was, like it was a badge of honor to suffer.
