Read a tip about tying knots with wet rope, tested it at Trout Lake

Someone on a bushcraft forum said wet rope loses 30% of its strength, so I tried their trick of using a double overhand stopper on my guy lines after a rainy night in Trout Lake. It held way better than my usual knot, even through a gusty morning. Anyone else adjust their knot game when the gear gets soaked?
