Our pitch deck got roasted by a 19 year old intern
Last month, before a Toronto VC meeting, our intern asked why we used 3 slides for the same revenue chart. She cut it to 5 slides total and we got a follow up call, first one in 6 tries. Anyone else had luck letting a fresh set of eyes gut their deck?

Two years ago our summer intern, Maya, told me my 14 slide deck was basically a diary. She made me cut all the founder bios to one line each and put the pricing model on a single page. We got a meeting with BDC Capital the next week, which never happened before. Now I make every new hire read our deck before we send it out, it saves us so much time.
