One good Friday in March changed how I handle job interviews
I had three interviews in one week in Austin and bombed the first two. Then a recruiter at a startup told me to stop memorizing answers and just talk about one project I actually loved. I switched tactics for the third interview, talked about a messy database cleanup I did at my last job, and got the offer two days later. Has anyone else found that dropping the script works better than rehearsing everything?
