Shoutout to the hiring manager in Denver who asked what cartoon character I'd be
Sat in a lobby for 40 minutes for a data entry interview, and her first real question was whether I'd rather be Bugs Bunny or Daffy Duck. I said Daffy because he keeps showing up even when he loses, and she wrote it down like it mattered. Do weird interview questions like that actually mean anything, or was she just bored?
Asked something like that once and I'm pretty sure it was just to see if I could talk without freezing up. The Daffy answer was honestly a good one (that whole thing about losing but still showing up is a real answer, not a joke). Some of these questions are dumb, but a few of them are just there to see how your brain works when you get thrown a curveball. Data entry is boring as hell, so maybe she was bored AND testing you at the same time.
