Wasted $200 on a career coaching package that was just generic advice
I signed up for a 6 week career coaching program back in March thinking it would help me pivot into project management. All they did was give me a basic template for my resume and told me to network more. I could have gotten that from a free YouTube video. The coach didn't even ask what industry I was in. Has anyone else had a similar experience with these online career coaches?

Hate to break it to you but $200 is chump change for a life lesson. I wasted twice that on a "mastermind group" that turned out to be just a guy reading from a textbook. These coaches are just salespeople who watched a few YouTube videos. They know most people won't actually hold them accountable. Next time just buy a $15 book on project management and call it a day. You'll probably learn more.
