Had to choose between a table saw and a track saw for my first big kitchen job

I was doing a set of cabinets for a rental flip in Columbus a few months back. Needed to rip down a bunch of plywood sheets for the boxes. Kept going back and forth: table saw gives you repeatable cuts, track saw is portable and less setup. Ended up renting both for a day to test. The track saw won for me. Way easier to break down full sheets alone on the driveway without wrestling them. Table saw is still on my list but not for that specific job. Anyone else swap their setup based on the project type?

Rented a track saw for the same thing last year. Spent more time setting up the guide rail than I would have just using a circular saw and a straight edge.

Did you tear down the guide rail and pack it up after every cut? That’s the only way that makes sense.
