Pro tip: laughed at the old guy using a pencil to scribe trim, then ate my words
Watched a trim guy in his 60s at a job in Boise fit baseboard by scribing with a pencil and a block, no coping saw, and it sat dead tight on a wall I was sure needed 20 minutes of work. Took me 2 tries to get it right at home but now the block and pencil live in my pouch. Anyone else got an old school trick you wrote off til you saw it work?
