Saw a new condo building in Portland with trim work that made me shake my head

The baseboards were cut so short they left a quarter inch gap at every corner. How does that even pass a walkthrough? What's the worst finish work you've seen lately?

Whoa, wait, really? @max808, are we talking about the same thing here? Because if they actually go through with that, it would be a total disaster. I can't believe anyone would think that's a good idea, it just doesn't fit at all with the other stuff they've done. They must be trying to get a reaction, because that's way too extreme for this setting. Honestly, it makes me wonder if they even looked at the bigger picture before deciding on that.
