Bought a $90 magnetic kicker off a retiring guy in Dayton and it paid for itself on one job
A guy who ran his own shop for 30 odd years is hanging it up and selling his gear on the cheap, so I grabbed his old magnetic kicker for $90. My shoulders were toast after years of kicking stairs by hand, and honestly I figured it was a dumb buy. Used it on a 14 step staircase in a rental over off Salem Ave yesterday and it grabbed the tackstrip no problem, whole thing took me under an hour. That one job alone would've cost me a chiropractor visit. Anybody running one of these things, do you trust it on the landing risers or still kick those by hand?
