Kicked out a tricky L-shaped hallway in under an hour with a new knife trick

I tried using a razor blade with a hook on the back for cutting carpet in tight corners. It sliced through the backing way cleaner than my standard knife, and I finished that whole hallway with 4 wasted trims instead of 12. My helper even said "dude, that's way faster than your usual messing around." Has anyone else messed with those hooked blades or did I just get lucky on this job?

Grace I think you're missing the bigger picture here. It's not about flexing, it's about how folks these days treat everything like a competition instead of just sharing what they did.
