Pulled 40 yards of berber in an empty house off Delwood Court and found the slab was still wet from a Tuesday leak

Man, that slab staying wet since Tuesday tells you the leak is still going somewhere under there. Berber soaks up water and hides it, so the pad and tack strip were probably holding moisture against the concrete the whole time. I'd get a moisture meter on that slab before anything new goes down, or you'll be pulling it again in six months.
