Pulled a power stretcher too hard and put a hole clean through a living room wall
Small house in Fresno, cheap drywall, and I leaned into it a little too enthusiastic. Had to patch it with a scrap piece and spackle before the homeowner got home from work. Anybody else ever put a stretcher through a wall or just me?

Oh man, I've been there! I did the exact same thing on a job in Bakersfield, punched a fist-sized hole right through some builder-grade 1/4 inch drywall. What saved me was cutting a clean square around the hole with a utility knife, then screwing in a furring strip behind it as a backer before patching with the scrap piece. Let the spackle dry fully and hit it with a light sanding, and the homeowner never noticed a thing. It's rough when you're racing the clock like that, but hey, we've all been there with those thin walls!
