They had this tight pattern that followed a curved staircase, no seams showing anywhere, and the guy said it took his crew 3 days with a straight edge and a lot of patience. Anyone else run into jobs where the spec sheet doesn't match what the architect actually drew?

Hold up, that 3 day timeline sounds off since a true custom wool install with curved staircases usually takes at least 5 days once you factor in pattern matching and the seaming around those risers. The spec sheet never shows the real layout headaches, that's where the extra time sneaks in.
