Saw a guy hand-stretch a whole hallway in Oakland with no power stretcher
Walked into a job site off Fruitvale Ave last Tuesday and this older installer was finishing a 40 foot hallway with just a knee kicker and a stair tool. He said he learned the trade in 1979 and never trusted anything with a cord. I watched him tuck the last corner and it was tighter than most power-stretched jobs I have seen. Do you all still hand-stretch on small runs or is it power stretcher all the way now?
