Switched to a power stretcher after 12 years of knee kickers

I used to think knee kickers were fine for every job. Then last fall I did a big living room in Nashville and ended up with a ripple near the door that I couldn't fix. Had to pull the whole carpet and start over. Now I use a power stretcher for anything over 12 feet wide. Has anyone else made that switch and noticed a big difference in final results?

Lol right? Power stretchers are basically the unsung heroes of flooring. I swear my chiropractor would be out of business if everyone used one of those things. Ripples in carpet are like the universe's way of testing your patience, huh?
