That hallway seam took me 5 hours to get right

Had a job last month in a long hallway in Denver where the seam kept lifting no matter what I did. Ended up using double-sided tape under the seam and spent an extra 3 hours stretching and re-trimming. Has anyone else run into a hallway that just fought back on every seam?

Really curious if it's a humidity thing with long hallways. A guy I know who does commercial work in Boulder mentioned that hallways with no direct sunlight can trap moisture weird in the subfloor, especially if there's concrete underneath. He said he always does a moisture test now before starting a long run. Could be worth checking next time if the seam keeps fighting back like that.
