That Tuesday job with 47 staples in my thumb made me rethink my whole setup
Last week I had a follow-up 400 sq ft install in a townhome in Austin and the carpet was this dense commercial loop that kept fighting back. I was using my usual 7/16 crown stapler and it jammed three times, then on the fourth try I caught my thumb with the kicker and spent 20 minutes pulling staples out of my glove. My helper just stood there laughing and said 'bro you need a better knee kicker or a new hobby.' Switched to a manual knee kicker for the stairs and everything went smooth after that, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had a day where one tool just ruins your rhythm for hours?

Honestly, I blame the setup more than the tool. A 7/16 stapler on dense commercial loop is asking for trouble, and your helper should have said that before you got frustrated, not after.
