Unpopular opinion: the dirt you sweep up after a tear out tells you more than any moisture meter
Found 3 inches of old pad dust and pet hair baked under a Berber in a 1972 split level in Boise, and it hit me that I've been skipping the vacuum pass before glue down way too often. Anybody else pull up weird stuff under the pad that changed how they prep the next room?
