Buyer feedback flipped my whole staging approach last month

A buyer's agent told me my open house felt 'too personal' because of family photos and knickknacks, so I stripped everything down to neutral basics for a listing in Plaza Midwood. It sat for 6 weeks before that, and we got an offer 9 days after the change. Anyone else get similar pushback on staging details before?

People get way too attached to their stuff. Neutral works, it just does. Buyer wants to picture their own life in there, not yours.
