Heard a couple at Common Market say they'd never buy a house in Plaza Midwood
They were going on about how it's too crowded now and the lots are too small, but honestly, I think they're missing the point. My place on Clement Avenue is under 1,200 square feet, but I can walk to five restaurants and a grocery store. Isn't that kind of convenience worth a little less yard space? What's a neighborhood you think gets unfairly written off?

Totally get what you're saying about the convenience. I live in a similar spot and not needing to drive for every little thing is huge. Some people are just obsessed with square footage. They'll write off a whole area for that. I feel like NoDa gets that sometimes too, people say it's just bars and noise. But there's a real community there, you know? Good neighbors, local shops, that kind of thing. It's not for everyone but it's definitely not just a party street.

Exactly, it's like they're buying a house to store all their future regrets. My first place was basically a closet with a hot plate, but man, I knew every person on my block. Now I've got rooms I haven't even named yet. Who needs that much space, a museum?
