I finally got my property tax appeal sorted after 8 months of back and forth

The county had my house in Charlotte listed with an extra 200 square feet I don't have, which was adding about $400 to my bill. It took submitting the original floor plans twice and three phone calls to get it corrected. Has anyone else had to fight a Mecklenburg County tax record error?

Honestly, does it even matter? They fixed it, so who cares how it started.
