Put in an offer on a house in Dilworth and the inspection took 12 days to schedule

Found a cute bungalow near East Blvd, got the offer accepted, then the home inspector kept pushing the date back... finally got it done 12 days later and by then two other buyers had already moved on. Anyone else run into scheduling nightmares with inspectors around here?

Right, because nothing says "thorough inspection" like a guy who shows up with a tape measure and a prayer. At that point you gotta wonder if they're actually inspecting the house or just waiting for the termites to finish their lunch. I'm half convinced some of these "inspectors" are just dudes who watched a YouTube video and bought a ladder. Did they at least find anything wrong, or was it just a 12 day wait to hear "looks fine, no big deal"? Kinda feels like you paid for the privilege of having your time wasted while the market ate your lunch. Hope your next offer doesn't come with a side of scheduling déjà vu.

Did you check if the inspector was actually licensed or just a handyman with a flashlight?
