Serious question, did anyone know Mecklenburg County has a $0 down loan for county workers?
A buddy at the water department told me about it Tuesday and I looked it up, there's a program that covers the whole down payment for county employees. I make decent money but saving 20% here feels impossible with rent at $1,600. Has anyone actually used one of these down payment help programs in Charlotte, or is it mostly a hassle?
