That flipped house off Central Ave had me pulling my hair out last week
Went to look at a flip off Central Ave that sold for $415k in September. The new owner called me in because the master bath shower was leaking into the dining room below. Turns out they glued the shower pan straight onto the subfloor with no pre-slope. The tile was already cracking after 3 months. I had to demo the whole thing and start over. Anyone else seeing flippers skip basic waterproofing in this market?

Call the homeowner cheap for expecting a premium waterproofing job on a quick flip. That shower pan setup was probably fine for the first few months and most buyers would never even notice until year two. Flippers are in the business of making houses look good for sale, not building them to last forever, and that's just how the game works.

Ngl @ryan653 is kinda right, the buyer probably won't notice for a year and by then the flipper is long gone. People overreact to every little thing in these houses.
