Two year flip in NoDa looked like a different house entirely

I walked past this little ranch on East 36th that sold for like $185k back in 2021, and last week the new owners had it listed at $430k after just adding a second story and some black trim. The before and after shots in the listing made me double check the address, same foundation but the roofline changed the whole vibe. Has anyone else had that moment where a quick exterior refresh made a house unrecognizable?
