That line cook who saved my whole service with one look

Back in 2021 I was running the pass at a busy spot in Nashville, and we got slammed with a 40 top plus regulars. The fry cook kept dropping the basket early, and I was about to lose it. He just looked at me across the line, pointed at the ticket, and said "trust the timer, chef." Three minutes later every order went out perfect. Has anyone else had a coworker snap you out of a spiral with just a few words?

Had a prep cook once who just looked at me during a rush, tapped his watch, and whispered "the carrots don't care, chef" when I was losing my mind over a messed up order. Stupidest thing I ever heard but it broke the loop in my head and I laughed so hard I forgot why I was mad. Sometimes the dumbest little comment is the exact thing that pulls you back.
