The night my kitchen went from chaos to calm in one shift

I walked into my station last Saturday and my prep list was a disaster, stuff everywhere, timers going off. Then my new sous chef showed up and within 30 minutes everything was lined up, labeled, and flowing. She rearranged my mise en place and had me finishing tickets 40% faster by the end of the night. Has anyone else had a new guy come in and totally flip your routine around like that?

Respect her hustle, that's rare.

Yeah seriously! That kind of drive is honestly pretty rare these days. So many people just talk about what they wanna do but never actually put in the work. Seeing someone just go for it and grind without making excuses is refreshing. It takes real guts to put yourself out there and build something from nothing. Props to anyone who can stay focused like that when it's way easier to just give up.

Wait @noahward, pretty sure they're a he, not a she, but yeah the grind is real.
