A homeowner in Boise pointed out my ladder setup was making them nervous.
They said the base looked too close to the house on the uneven ground. I started putting a piece of scrap plywood under one leg every single time now, and it feels way more solid. Anyone else have a simple trick for shaky ground?

Try a rubber mat for extra grip.

Oh good call, @eric_johnson. I used a cheap rug pad and it made a huge difference.
