Just switched from a basic wire brush to a SootMaster rotary system
Had a stubborn creosote blockage in a 1920s flue in Cincinnati that my old brush just couldn't handle. Anyone have a go-to method for breaking through that really hard, glazed stuff?

That SootMaster rotary is a beast for that old glazed creosote. I've heard some guys follow up with a chemical cleaner to really break down what's left.

Yeah that combo is no joke lol. The chemical finish really gets the last bit of gunk out. Makes the whole job way cleaner.

Man, @theagarcia, that reminds me of the time we used a similar combo on this ancient brick oven and the owner swore it hadn't looked that good since the 70s.
