Question about spinning brushes and why nobody warned me sooner

I spent 8 years scrubbing flues with a standard wire brush before a old timer at a trade show in Des Moines walked over and handed me a spinning brush head and said 'stop doing it the hard way' and now I'm mad at myself for every single elbow I wrecked before that moment.

God, SAME. Eight years is a long time to be a stubborn mule about brushes. I scrubbed a whole apartment complex's dryer vents with a hand brush before a buddy finally showed me the spinning attachment. My shoulders were not happy. Now I'm that guy waving a spinning brush at every new guy like it's the secret to life. Really makes you wonder what else we're all doing the hard way.

Eight years of pure elbow grease and stubborn pride. I spent a whole summer vacation as a teen scrubbing my grandma's entire house with a toothbrush sized thing before my dad just handed me a scrubbing drill attachment. Felt like a real genius when I finally used it. Kinda makes me wonder what stupid thing I'm still doing the hard way right now, probably something super obvious.
