Wife's hair dryer got a stuck brush out of a flue liner when nothing else worked
Had a liner job over in Akron where the brush head wedged itself about 6 feet down and no amount of twisting or swearing would budge it. My wife's old Conair dryer was in the truck from a side job, so I duct taped a coat hanger to the intake and let hot air blow down the flue for about 15 minutes until the creosote softened up enough to yank it free. Anyone else keep weird household stuff on the truck for moments like this, or am I the only one raiding the house for tools?
