A conversation with my barber in Cincinnati about his electric mower
He said switching from gas cut his weekend noise in half and he feels better about his small patch of grass. Anyone else have a neighbor or local business that made a small switch you noticed?

Gas mowers just work better, period.

Honestly, I used to believe that too. But I saw a video recently where they tested a high-end electric mower against a gas one, and the electric model cut through thick, wet grass just as well. The tech has really come a long way in the last few years. It's not just those weak old plug-in mowers anymore.

Oh man, my neighbor got a battery mower last spring. The quiet is the best part. I used to have to pause my phone calls when he started up his old gas one. Now I barely notice he's out there. Plus, he just plugs the battery in his garage, no more gas can smell or trips to the station. Makes a lot of sense for a regular yard, right?
