Can we talk about neighbors who idle their trucks for 20 minutes?

Tbh I noticed the guy two doors down on Maple Street leaves his diesel running every morning while he drinks coffee inside, and that's a full gallon of fuel gone before 7am. I did a rough count last summer, 5 trucks on my block doing this daily, that's like 3,600 gallons wasted a year just here. Has anyone else tried talking to their neighbor about it, or do you just let it go?

My neighbor on the other side does the same thing every single morning, sits there for a good 15 minutes with the engine running while he scrolls on his phone. I clocked it once because it was foggy and I couldn't see the street, and I could hear that rumbling from my kitchen. The fuel cost is bad enough, but the noise gets me too. I just close my window and let it go because I don't want to start a fight over something that's technically legal.
