Hit 200 miles on my e-bike instead of driving, that gas math surprised me

My car's been in the shop for 3 weeks so I dug out the old e-bike my brother gave me. Started keeping track on a simple mileage app, just hit 200 miles yesterday. Did the rough math, that's about 8 gallons of gas I didn't burn, around $28 saved. Not huge but it adds up over a summer. What really got me was how many short trips I used to make that were under 3 miles, all perfect bike distance. Anyone else track their avoided car miles and get shocked by the total?

I mean, the gas math is cool but 200 miles on an e-bike is probably closer to 5-6 gallons saved since the bike doesn't burn it directly. Still, the real win is those under 3 mile trips, once you start counting them it gets weird how many you do without thinking. Idk, just seems like the savings are even better if you look at oil changes and brake wear too.
