Last Tuesday, my town's 'green initiative' meeting got shut down by a guy yelling about his property taxes. What a waste of time.

Ugh, @blake_thompson27, you see it everywhere. Like when a neighbor refuses to fix a fence that's about to fall because "it's not on my side," so the whole street looks bad. Or how people won't carpool to cut traffic, since driving alone is easier for them. That small stuff adds up and wrecks things for everyone.
