My 2015 truck bed liner rack vs. the solar panel setup I built last month
Used to haul everything loose in the bed with bungees, total mess. Swapped in a used bed rack from a Tacoma in Dallas for $150 and bolted on two 100w Renogy panels. Now my camping gear charges while I drive and I don't have to strap a cooler to the tailgate. Took a whole weekend to wire it through the cab, but the fridge runs off the battery now. Anyone else convert an old rack for solar instead of buying those expensive prebuilt kits?

$150 for a bed rack that now powers your fridge, but you still slept on the ground in a tent, right?
