Pro tip: The solar panels on my neighbor's roof cut their power bill by $120 last month

They installed them in May and the difference is huge already. Has anyone else seen big savings from home solar?

My cousin in Arizona got panels last year. Her bill only went down about forty bucks a month after the loan payment.

Yeah, that "only went down forty bucks" thing is pretty common. The loan payment eats up most of the savings. You really gotta run the numbers on the total loan cost versus your current bill.
