That bike rack at the farmers market sold me on cargo bikes
Went to the Saturday market in Portland, saw this guy load three kids and two crates of produce onto a cargo bike. No car, no hassle. He said it replaced his second car for $1,800 total over 4 years. Has anyone else made the switch for city errands? I'm lookin at used ones now.

Do you really need a car for those quick trips, or is it just habit? I sold mine after borrowing a friend's cargo bike for a month and never looked back. Three years later, my legs are in better shape than my old bank account.
