Update: Thinking about how everyone used to burn leaves in the fall

It was just a normal part of autumn cleanup back then. These days, I compost or mulch to keep the air cleaner.

Man, that specific burning smell takes me right back to childhood Saturdays. I weirdly prefer it over campfire smoke.

That childhood Saturdays smell for me is always burnt toast.

Campfire smoke is the superior smell for me, it always means a good time with friends.
