Warning: My uncle scoffed at my electric mower suggestion last weekend.
He said gas mowers are cheaper and more powerful. I showed him my cost savings from last year. Still, he wouldn't listen. It's tough when family resists even simple swaps.

What kind of savings are we talking about, and how long does it take to see them? I always hear about lower fuel costs, but the upfront price is so much higher. Does the math actually work out for most people, or only if you drive a ton of miles every year?
