Heard a guy at the tool crib say he runs his coolant at 8% now
He said it cut his tool wear in half on a tough 4140 job. I always ran the standard 5%, so I'm going to try bumping mine up a bit this week. Anyone else mess with their coolant mix for different materials?

Wait, really? I've been running 5% forever too. Might have to test that out on our 304 stainless.

What kind of finish are you getting with the 5% and what's the goal with the change? We saw way less heat tint on our welds when we dropped down, but it can be a bit slower.
