PSA: I keep seeing guys run the coolant pump dry after a tool change

I watched three different operators at my shop in Toledo forget to turn the coolant back on after swapping an end mill, and each time it smoked the new tool within minutes. The machine doesn't throw an alarm for it, so you have to make it a habit to check the flow before hitting cycle start. How do you guys remember to double-check the coolant line after a tool change?

Yeah, the machine not throwing an alarm is the worst part. I got in the habit of just tapping the coolant on/off button twice after every tool change, feels weird if I don't do it now.

So you tap it twice, like a quick double-click? I've seen guys do a single long press to cycle the pump, but never that specific move. Does the double-tap just work better on your particular control, or is there a reason for two short hits instead of one?
