Rant: My simple toolpath change turned into a 3-hour debug session

I was trying to reduce cycle time on a stainless part by adjusting the lead-in, but a tiny leftover stock setting in the CAM software was causing gouges. Anyone else get tripped up by those hidden parameters?

Wait, you have to actually dig? Like click through five menus just to find one setting? That's crazy. I just assumed it was in the obvious spot under preferences. Tbh that feels like they're hiding it on purpose. No wonder people get so frustrated with this stuff.
