That Tuesday shift in Dayton where everything clicked at once
Last month I had a day running a Haas VF-4 where three jobs lined up perfectly: the setup sheets were right, the tool offsets held, and I got 47 good parts out before lunch without one alarm. We usually fight chatter on the 6061 flanges, but for six straight hours the chips came off like butter and I even had time to re-check my probe routine. It made me think about how much of our work is just luck timing with coolant, stock, and software.
Has anyone else had a shift where every variable just cooperated, and did you figure out why afterwards or just enjoy it while it lasted?
