Worst part is his wife kept asking if he was fixing the robot or the dishwasher." That got me. Three days on a Z offset is brutal though. I wasted a full afternoon once because my bed screws were loose from the last print. Tightened them and it fixed everything. Sometimes the dumbest stuff takes the longest.

Buddy of mine spent a whole weekend chasing a printer error that turned out to be a loose screw on the hotend. He swore it was firmware because the symptoms changed every time he restarted. Worst part is his wife kept asking if he was fixing the robot or the dishwasher.
