Vent: The coolant line turned my shop floor into a slip and slide

I was running a big aluminum job on the old Haas VF-2 at the back of the shop. A loose clamp on the main coolant line gave out, spraying the whole area. I slipped trying to reach the emergency stop, landed flat on my back, and just slid right into the machine base. My lead guy walked over, looked down, and just said 'nice form'. Anyone have a good brand for those heavy duty hose clamps?

Used to cheap out, now I only buy Breeze clamps.

Switched to Breeze after a cheap clamp blew and cost me way more in downtime. Never had one fail since.

Honestly that sounds like a normal Tuesday in any shop. Those clamps fail all the time. Ross.jason swears by Breeze, but is the extra cost really worth it for a problem that happens maybe once a year? Just tighten up whatever you've got already and keep a better eye on the hoses. Spending a ton on fancy clamps seems like overkill when the real fix is just paying more attention.
