Right, because who loves wasting time setting up automation for five parts?

Haha "wasting time" is the perfect way to put it. I spent a whole day setting up a macro for a part I ran like three times last month, and the whole time I'm thinking "this is smart, this will save me hours" but really I just wanted to avoid doing it by hand one more time. The worst part is when you get it working perfectly and then the client changes the part number or the print updates and you have to re-do the whole dang thing. But then that one time six months later when it saves you a full shift, you feel like a genius. It's like the automation equivalent of that one pair of jeans that fits perfect but you paid too much for them.
