Just realized I spent 3 months on a Python course, but building my $20 grocery list app taught me more
I picked full tutorials over actually coding my own thing, and now that I finally made a stupid simple script that calculates my weekly food budget, the basics finally clicked, so has anyone else found that small projects beat endless lessons?

Ngl, that grocery list app is exactly how it clicked for me too. Tutorials give you the map, but building something real makes you walk the road and trip over every mistake. Small projects force you to actually think, and that's where the learning sticks.
