Question about those $50 Udemy courses that promise too much
I dropped $60 on a "Master Python in 30 Days" course last month and honestly it was a total waste. The instructor rushed through concepts and the exercises barely worked. I spent more time fixing broken code than actually learning. A friend bought a $40 JavaScript one from the same seller and had the same problem. Is it just me or do these cheap courses bait you in with flashy promises? Any recommendations for beginner coding courses that actually deliver on the basics?

Did you actually finish that Python course before deciding it was bad?

...and I feel like that's kind of missing the point @palmer.ryan, I actually spent a month in that course before I realized YouTube tutorials were teaching me the same stuff faster. Most coding courses drag on forever when you really just need to build something small to get the hang of it. So no I didn't finish it, but I think I got enough out of the first part to call it bad.
